Parliamentary Candidate: Chris Phillips
Born in Bath in 1957, Chris is a former Royal Colllege of Art student and an architect with over 20 years of experience. He has completed a number of significant regeneration projects in London and the UK
The Phillips family live in Beckenham, where Chris’s wife is a Conservative Councillor for Clock House Ward, and their two sons are pupils at St Olave’s Grammar School.
Chris is also a Councillor at the London Borough of Bromley, where he has served as Cabinet Member for Social Care, Health and Housing and Chairman of the Local Economy Committee, with a priority of town centre regeneration and renewal. He is also a Governor of Bromley Adult Education College
Chris has raised considerable sums for charities through sponsored runs, and swims, and organises the annual Mayor of Bromley’s sponsored walk. A committed Christian, Chris is also well travelled, an accomplished draughtsman and a keen football follower.

Ross Archer:
Ross Archer has lived in Sydenham for over 10 years and is currently in his second year at London Metropolitan University studying Politics. He also works locally in Sainsbury’s Sydenham, and as an assistant scout leader he is actively involved in the local community.
A local Education Authority Governor for Adamsrill Primary School, Ross has a passion for education and believes that our children’s future is one of the most important challenges we face.
Ross stands for the Conservatives in the Sydenham Ward, and writes:
“Sydenham is a wonderful, vibrant, exciting, up-and-coming place to live, but it could be better”
Ross and the Sydenham Conservative team aim to make Sydenham one of the best places in London to live, work and socialise.
Eddie Capone
Eddie is putting himself forward to stand as a Conservative Councillor for the Sydenham wad because he believes that with his knowledge, experience and leadership abilities, he can make a difference to the lives of the people of Sydenham and be part of a strong Conservative team in Lewisham. Eddie has recent experience of regeneration of the South Acton Estate, where he succeeded in persuading the Local Authority to accept 23 key recommendations, including the funding of a new community centre and the refurbishment of the local school.
Dan Tubb:
Dan has worked in London all his adult life and moved to Lewisham in 2001. He worked as a fund manager in the City before building his own print and design business which he sold in 2008 to one of the major national chains. Today Dan works as a business analyst for a City firm. Dan’s particular interest in politics is achieving cost efficiency for the taxpayer, and eliminating waste and debt.
