    • Review trading standards policy to ensure that honest businesses are not impeded by officious box ticking and that genuine cowboys are closed down
    • A website to provide new and established businesses with the information and contacts they need
    • New “not-for-profit” Lewisham Bank with a brief to help local businesses to start up or expand
    • Make more use of sources of Government funding such as the Small Business Hardship Scheme and the National Small Business Rate Relief Scheme
    • Review customer parking facilities, loading bay enforcement and business parking policy
    • Work closely with local businesses to ensure that their views are taken before key decisions are made
    • Ease traffic congestion
    • Make streets and communal spaces safe and attractive places to live and work
    • Set up Business Partnership Boards based on the popular Wandsworth model
